Empowering Growth Through In-Home ABA Therapy
Why Choose In-Home ABA Over Clinical Intervention?
When intervention is completed in the home setting parents and caregivers have an opportunity to learn alongside their child. Parents and caregivers are fully immersed in the programming while it is completed, without needing to be present throughout the entirety of the session, as well as receiving in-the-moment consultation from the BCBA during supervision appointments and weekly or bi-weekly meetings.
In addition, materials will be developed for generalization of interventions into the child's daily schedule and kept in the home for regular use without need for therapists to be present for skill development.

Each client is assigned a treatment team comprised of a BCBA and assistants such as BCaBAs and RBTs.
Under One Umbrella currently serves individuals ages 18 months to 19 years of age (up to date of 20th birthday).
Comprehensive assessments are chosen which describe specific levels of targeted behavior at baseline and develop treatment goals.
Treatment plans emphasize real-life behavior skills, individualized interventions, and peer-reviewed proven techniques.
Coverage for ABA services with insurance providers requires a pre-existing diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder under state and federal guidelines.
Under One Umbrella also services a number of additional diagnoses including: Attention Deficit/ Hyperactivity Disorder, Anxiety, Epilepsy, Speech Impairment, Eating Restrictions, and other genetic disorders.
Treatment plans focus on small units of behavioral change in order to build broader behaviors which promote the client’s independence and social performance.
Parents/ guardians have input on selection of targets, and regular training for implementation in the home and community setting.
All services are provided via face-to-face interaction with staff and supervisors, Under One Umbrella does not provide telehealth services at this time.
Collection and analysis of data of targeted behaviors and replacement behaviors is completed each session as well as independently by caregivers; with ongoing assessment, analysis, and adjustments to treatment plans in order to promote maximum progress.
Maladaptive behaviors are met with use of Safety Care® which provides skills and competencies to effectively prevent, minimize, and manage behavioral challenges.
Staff create an environment best suited to minimize targeted behaviors while facilitating treatment goals.
Treatment strategies are implemented consistently and frequently across all environments until discharge criteria are met.
Programming development based on collaborative interactions with the treatment team, as well as with parents/ guardians before the onset of services and during intervention within regular family training meetings.
Comprehensive BCBA supervision and assessment are provided throughout the scope of treatment.

In-home therapy offers comfort and reduces the stress of trips to a clinic. When kids receive therapy at home, they feel more relaxed, leading to better learning and faster progress. This environment benefits children and lets families participate more by observing effective strategies in action.
Therapy at home teaches behaviors and skills in the settings they'll use them, helping children generalize their skills. For instance, lessons on mealtime, bedtime, and chores become part of daily life, making them more meaningful and effective.
Our in-home therapy works to build skills in areas such as:
Language & Communication
Self-Help
Social Skills
Pre-Academic Skills
Fine & Gross Motor Skills
Play Skills
Behavior Planning & More!

While the primary goal of in-home ABA therapy treatment will largely depend on your child’s specific needs, this form of therapy effectively teaches your child many new skills. During the ABA therapy process, some children have seen improvements in areas such as:
Showing greater interest in the children and adults around them.
Effectively communicating their needs.
Clearly and specifically asking for something.
Showing improved focus in school and other academic settings.
Reducing negative or self-harming behaviors.
Experiencing fewer tantrums or negative outbursts.
To maintain these positive behaviors, it’s essential for Behavior Technicians and caregivers to positively reinforce the desired behavior as much as possible. Using in-home ABA services allows for greater involvement, and your Behavior Technician will give you strategies for effective reinforcement. In-home therapy also allows your Behavior Technician access to behaviors your child may not perform in public, such as tantrums, and will teach you how to avoid reinforcing this and other negative behaviors.
